CALM CITIES

(CITTA SLOW)

CÄ°TTA SLOW.png

Cittaslow, which is composed of the Italian words Citta (city) and English slow (slow, calm), means "Calm City". The "Slow Food Association" was established in 1986 in Barolo, Italy, against the American-style fast food chain. The "Slow Food" concept of the union, which gained an international dimension three years later, has become a global movement followed by millions of people today.
